1960 W300 Green in TX (Now in IN I think)

Dodge W300 1 ton 4x4 Power Wagon. Rare truck with even more rare factory 9' stake bed. This is a tall truck, the top of the cab is over 7 ½ feet high. 4:88's, Dana 70's front and rear, Warn Lockout hubs, four speed, original flathead 6 251ci, factory power brake booster, special order heavy duty generator, 25 gallon saddlebag gas tank.

This truck lived in Nevada until 2000; it is rust free (floor had surface from shag carpet). I removed the existing flatbed and replaced with a super rare factory 9' stake bed. The bed had wood in it at one time but does not have wood in it at this time. I do have all of the 9' metal strips - sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted black. I was going to put womanized wood in but decided not to when I decided to sell. Next owner may want to go back with nice oak or something else. I replaced a badly bondo-ed driver's door with a solid straight one. Vehicle was painted in 2002 back to the original Pine Green with original Sand Dune White headlight rings, trim, bumper, and rims. Gas tank boiled out and sealed, rebuilt carburetor, generator, starter, Warn hubs, transfer case, new clutch master cylinder, amongst other things.

The brakes work very well. I drove this truck at the 2001 Colorado Rocky Mountain Rendezvous over three 13000' passes including Black Bear outside Telluride. The tires have excellent tread but are weather checked. I have enjoyed this truck but I have found other vehicles in which I have taken an interest. The truck has been driven very little, if any since it was painted this spring, and has remained under cover. The interior (headliner, door panels, door weather-stripping) needs to be finished. It will need a tune-up as well but it starts right up every time, no smoke. The truck needs some other small thing but it is basically complete.
